Western Horseman magazine was a gift for my father who truly is a "Western Horseman". He found the magazine to be very educational and just enjoyable to his tastes. He was able to locate hard to find products and even discovered some new ones. He was very pleased with the magazine and I assume will stay a reader in future years.

Western Horseman Magazine is arguably the oldest and most comprehensive publication geared toward the horse industry in general and cowboys in particular. We have been loyal subscribers for years and have yet to dissatisfy in any way with the magazine. I highly recommend it for any age group interested in this genre.

Western Horseman Magazine focuses on western riding and horses rather than on horse shows and show horses. My interest is in the working horse, trail riding and just old fashioned horse riding. This magazine is interesting and has great photography as well as more articles and less advertising.

If you subscribe to just one horse magazine Western Horseman Magazine is the one. Consistently great covers with nice photos inside-- and the information isn't bad either. I love the health articles-- extremely helpful-- I like to know as much as I can about this topic. I enjoy the features about the different breeds, like the riding tips and even the articles about various people enjoying the western lifestyle are interesting too. Overall, Western Horseman is a great choice for the horse enthusiast.

Most other horse magazines feature training horses. Western Horseman is more than that. This magazine is for you if you want to read about western lifestyles, horses, country, and ranch life, old and new. They also include horse’s health topics to keep you informed of issues horses owners need to know.
